Jordi is a high school mathematics teacher and a veteran of the Amgen Teach Community.

When asked how a recent Amgen Teach workshop had influenced his teaching, he says, "After attending the "Learning and Teaching Biosciences in the XXI Century" in Barcelona, I incorporated some techniques learned in the workshop into my daily teaching practice. For instance, a small project called <labs> is about six hours long, where I teach my students about project formatting."

In general, Jordi added, Amgen Teach has helped him "develop better insights about what to prepare before a project session, how to participate and interact with students during the class, and how to evaluate sessions in order to prepare the next class. We have also been sharing problems and new ideas together once a month!"

When asked, "What do you like most about Amgen Teach Trainings?" Jordi says, "the quality of the teachers, the great materials that provide ideas about what to implement in the class room, and the diversity of teachers involved in the training."
